KILE, DR. RUBY E. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen (Matthew 28:18-20) Dr. Ruby E. Kile, age 78, of Bessemer, AL entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, February 27, 2008. She was born April 12, 1929 in Herbine, Arkansas. Dr. Kile was the founder and Bishop of Faith Temple Church in Birmingham, AL where she served as pastor for 35 years until the time of her death. She was the presiding Bishop of Faith Temple Church of Deliverance in Alabaster, AL where Rev. Bobby E. Law is pastor and Mission With A Vision in Columbiana, AL where Rev. Shirley Elms is pastor. Dr. Kile was ordained in the Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches and Ministries International in 1969 by the late Dr. Lester Summerall. In 1969, she visited the Holy Land in Jerusalem and received the award for Recognition of Accessation of Pilgrimage of the Holy Land from the Mayor of Jerusalem in 1970. Dr. Kile started her pastoral ship in Birmingham in 1972. She was a pioneer for women pastors and integrated congregations in the Birmingham area. Her motto was "All God's people are welcome". Dr. Kile had a true love for God's people of all color. She always said, "God had a Rainbow". She stood for Holiness and Godly character and integrity. The Outstanding Humanitarian Service Award was given to her from the AME Church in 1992. In 1994, she received her Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Pentecostal Bible College of Tuskegee, Alabama. In 1997, for her faithfulness in ministry, she received a 25-year Silver Certificate from Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches and Ministers International where she was a member for 45 years. In the year of 2001, she received numerous recognitions and awards from the Auxiliary Ministries of Faith Temple Church. Dr. Kile worked in the evangelistic field for three years before pastoring her first church in Shreveport, Louisiana.
