Jesus Is

Isaiah 9 : 6 KJV

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called wonderful, counsellor, the Mighty God, The everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.

7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

“Who do men say I, the son of Man, am?” Jesus once asked his disciples this question. Surprisingly, this simple question is still asked today.

So who is Jesus? Isaiah said He is called, “Wonderful, counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. John said He is the word of god.” (John 1 ) Matthew 1:23 said, “They shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”

God said that Jesus is His beloved Son. He is well pleased with Him. (Matthew 3:17; Matthew 17:5)

Jesus said he is the bread of life. (John 6) Also, He is the way, the truth, and the life. (John 14:6) He is the true vine; without Him, we can do nothing. (John 15)

Revelation 22:13, Jesus declares, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the fist and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”

Jesus is coming soon.

There are many more scriptures to describe Him. However, I can only share a bit. the Holy Bible points to Jesus. It begins and ends with Him. Again, Jesus asked, “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
